Summer School

SSFUSD Grading Policy

Students who sign up for summer school with South San Francisco Unified School District (SSFUSD) are agreeing to participate in the summer school classes listed on their application.

Students who sign up for summer school but who fail to show up for their classes will receive a withdrawal (W/D) on their summer school transcript.

Withdrawals have no impact on a student's overall grade point average (GPA).

Students who sign up for summer school and drop out after the third day will receive a “W/F” on their transcript, which will affect their GPA.

Consequently, students and parents should contact the summer school principal to notify them of their intention to withdraw from the summer program.
