About Me

Hello,

My name is Jerell Maneja, and I am proud to be an Assistant Principal at El Camino High School. I have worked in education for 11 years (science teacher, student leadership advisor) The 2024-2025 school year will mark my second year in this role at ECHS. It is a blessing to work in the community I grew up in, and to be in the district that I attended (Westborough MS graduate in 2001 and South San Francisco High School graduate in 2005).

My priority in education is providing individualized support for all students to maximize their potential and creating positive school environments where all students feel like they belong. I want to strengthen the South San Francisco community for all ECHS families, including my own. My experience in education includes science education, project-based learning, education technology, ASB/Student Leadership, MTSS, school culture/climate building, and coaching (badminton).

In my spare time, my hobbies and interests include Disney, theme parks, reality TV/game show competitions, reading, gaming (video/tabletop), and Costco.
